She is extremely thorough and has a wide selection of past papers to help keep the lessons different and therefore building confidence. Sonia is genuinely passionate about her subject and translates this into exciting creative writing lessons drawing on all the senses and introducing the child to different genres of literature. She also did interview practice with my son, which I feel really boosted his skills in answering questions about himself and his interests.

Tarka was offered places at all four schools (subject to common entrance) and I would highly recommend her to any parents.

I will start my dream school, Wycombe Abbey, in September. All of this would not have been possible without Sonia’s assistance, since I came back to London last September, just a few months before my exams. I was almost a year behind, because of the Australian Education System, so I was very stressed and had barely any hope of getting into the school of my choice.

I was lucky to have Sonia as my tutor and mentor who excelled my English to a totally different level. She transformed my English and gave me confidence in writing.
